48 Years—This Old Guitar No. 9

1970—Sweet Sorrow

Well it has been a while since I posted any music to This Old Guitar. I have been going through some of the songs I have written through the years and posting them here. Sweet Sorrow was written in 1970, early in my walk with Christ. According to my count, Sweet Sorrow was the 34th song I wrote since I received my first guitar as a present for my 14th birthday in 1965. It has been one of my favorites down through the years, and one of my wife’s favorites, too. I hope you like it!
