For two-and-one-half years, my friend and writing/business partner and I threw our hearts and souls into creating our first novel, Bloodlines. Working together on that story took me deep into an exploration of the spiritual and ideological battle for the soul of our nation.

Bloodlines changed my life in many ways. It certainly propelled me from being merely a dreamer into a doer. Following Bloodlines, we created five more novels together. My love of country grew strong and bold during those creative years.
