TWO KINDS OF PEOPLE

Some folks say there are three kinds of people in this world. Some say two. I’ll go with the “two types” approach for now. So here goes…Are you a “sideliner,” taking the quiet route as you try your best to stay out of trouble? Or are you the kind who likes to be where the action is?

I tend to fall into the second category. I’m a crusader. I am one of those souls who wants to change the world. It seems as though I always have a cause of some kind. Oddly, it also just happens that the word “wrong” is a word I find myself using often. Or should I say, “a word I want to use…?”

Episode 41 inaugurates a twelve part collection of podcasts comparing my twelve years in the controversial “Shepherding Movement” with the Bostonian Puritans of the late 1600’s who turned their basic beliefs into a theological construct that empowered them to banish community members who did not fully embrace their brand of Christianity.

The similarity of these two stories? Both groups believed tha they were on the “cutting edge” of what God was doing in the earth!
